As we continue to grapple with this ever-changing, upside-down world, I am offering a flexible approach to author visits for the 2021-2022 school year. Most visits will be virtual, and I’ll work with you to put together a package that works best for your current situation. I know times are tough and budgets are tight. You can use the following information as a guide, but I am happy to work with you around pricing. I will be providing limited in-person author visits in the Denver-metro area. Masks and safety protocols must be in place in order for me to visit. You can find more information about in-person visits and rates in the attachment below: "Author Visits with Lauren H. Kerstein". All visits include social/emotional content as I empower students to see their strengths, approach life courageously, and identify helpful strategies for tough times.

All of these presentations are also available to students and families in their homes as well. Teachers, librarians, or parents can organize a single presentation, multiple presentations, or a 30-minute author reading and Q & A. The fees are the same as virtual visits at school. I am also happy to chat about a fee that works best for your current situation.
Sample Presentations: Lauren combines her expertise as an author and a mental health clinician in all of her presentations. (You can't take the mental health clinician out of the author.)

Booking a Visit:
Please review the above information and determine which visit might work best for you. Then fill out the below form with your information, a few possible dates, and the type of visit you’d like. I look forward to “visiting” with your school!
If possible, please plan to purchase a copy or copies of my books prior to, or in conjunction with my author visit so that you can familiarize your students with the book and help them formulate questions for the Q&A. I certainly understand that these uncertain times might interfere with your ability to do so. I have partnered with one of my wonderful local Independent Bookstores, Second Star to the Right Books, to make this as easy as possible. Second Star can send books and swag directly to you. Please click on this link to purchase Rosie the Dragon and Charlie Make Waves and Rosie the Dragon and Charlie Say Good Night, and to pre-order Home for a While.
Please add a $3.00 handling fee to your payment when you pay online. If you'd like to avoid this fee, please contact Lauren for other payment options.
Lauren is excited to "visit" your home or school!
